Our owner Ted, is a talented woodworker, a loving husband and a proud girl dad, infusing the passion and care he has for his family into every project we undertake. On his days off, you can him immersed in his F1 Fantasy team, practicing his swing at his local driving range, or enjoying a family stroll on the boardwalk by Hutch's on the Beach .

2002-2014
Cabinet Maker
After graduating from high school, Ted began working at a custom cabinet shop, dedicating 12 years to perfecting his skills. He quickly earned a reputation for his exceptional craftsmanship and became the go-to expert on cabinetry.
2014-2025
Carpenter
After Ted fully developing his cabinetry skills, he was presented an opportunity in carpentry with Boerboom Construction. True to his loyal nature, Ted dedicated over a decade to expanding his knowledge of the construction industry, building a strong reputation for his meticulous attention to detail.
2019-Present
Contractor
In 2019, Ted transitioned to subcontracting, establishing Boomsma Construction, and celebrated the arrival of his third daughter in the same week. He has diligently built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, exceptional attention to detail, and a charismatic personality that customers adore.
